Name: Vahlyereey Bullikov
Cpl. Vahlyereey Bullikov and his skirmisher, "Deadbolt," are two of the few Regulator survivors from TIER-Z.
When Bullikov was drafted into a scouting party of Regulator soldiers to investigate the happenings of a rival faction, he scarcely thought anything of it. Little did he know that this "simple reconnaissance mission" would soon turn into a living hell for him and his squad mates. After some exploration into TIER-1 HQ, they were surprised to not have encountered any resistance from enemy soldiers - as there wasn't a single trace of life to be found in the area. Barracks, bunkers, research labs and guard posts lay desolate and burning. It was now clear to Bullikov and his fellow men that something devastating and sinister had torn through the TIER-1 compounds, but what? Or who? As far as Regulator command knew, they (along with TIER-1) were the only active presence to be found in the surrounding barren wastelands.
Bullikov, along with several of his comrades, insisted that the squad leaders called for reinforcements. Unfortunately, they were ignored by their superiors and were forced to accompany the others further into TIER-1 HQ - as a result, they would all pay dearly for these actions. Upon entering the main underground labyrinth of the headquarters, they were trapped and engaged by hostile TIER-1 soldiers. Though, as Bullikov came to observe, something was strangely wrong with the enemy troops - they carried no firearms, their armor was torn to pieces, and their pupils had shrunk to the size of tiny dots. Most terrifying of all, they came sprinting and screaming at them with no hesitation - driven by some unquenchable rage; insane almost.
Caught off guard, the Regulators barely had enough time to react before the enemy was upon them. Bullikov watched in pure horror as his friends were overrun by the mass of screaming bodies. No matter how many bullets they put into them, they refused to go down - their fury overriding any feelings of pain.
The Regulators at the head of the group were the first to fall - quickly overpowered by the seemingly unstoppable enemy. The next to die were the Skirmishers - the great size and limited maneuverability of the dragons made them easy targets for their merciless adversaries. Bullikov helplessly watched as a skirmisher was disemboweled by one of the savages, right before his very eyes.
Within a few short minutes, the Regulator scouting party of 50 troops (including 10 skirmishers) was cut in half. As the situation rapidly deteriorated, the commander initiated order "abandon all," at which point those who were still alive began to flee and scatter throughout the facilities of TIER-1 in order to escape the pursuing hordes - many becoming killed or lost in the process.
As the Regulators' numbers began to dwindle, Bullikov made the impulsive decision to run from the fight, grabbing any stray friendlies who were still breathing. By the time he'd finally outrun the crazed hostiles, he had gathered up two other soldiers (Sgt. Tikkanen & Pvt. Carter) and a skirmisher (Deadbolt) along the way. Though small, the unlikely team defied all odds and eventually fought their way out of the hellishly overrun confines of TIER-1.
When the whole ordeal was over with, the four survivors were nearly all that was left of the Regulator scouting party. The losses were devastating, so much so that the tragedy went down as a documented altercation in the Regulators' official archives. The massacre would come to be known as "TIER-Z."
